This rumour is confirmed false and is of low priority – here's why:
The government newspapers wrote biased news in cover page for electioneering for USDP party(Union Solidarity and Development Party) with the heading of ''Green colour would be going to dominant at Meiktila and its all lands'' at October 24.

That biased news was pressed both two government myanmar language newspapers, Myanma Alinn and The Mirror daily at front page with full column at the same day.

The photo that shows many people are welcoming the president and his members by using USDP flags, stickers and hats uses as news photo although that news is about president and his members' trip to Meiktila.

Moreover, that news heading colour is green and that is very strange.
At this electioneering time, USDP party often uses green colour as representative of his party.

This heatmap depicts the spread of rumours over time. Hotter areas of the map denote earlier sightings, while cooler areas indicate delayed dispersion.
