This rumour is probably true
and is of low priority
– here's why:
The Myanmar government's USDP officials used hate speech of anti-Rohingya in election campaign, Daily Eleven Newspaper. Central adviser U Soe Thar and Magway Divisional Chairman U Phone Maw Shwe gave speeches about protection of race and nationalism in their campaign.
" Our main priority is national cause and we'll stand for our race. Otherwise, there'll be danger to it. We'll never accept Rohingya as ethnicity whoever gives pressure for it ", said U Soe Thar. U Zaw Htay @ Hmu Zaw, the spokesman for the President Office, was one of them.
" Though President U Thein Sein seems flexible, he never hesitated in decision making. He strongly declared ' No Rohingya in Myanmar ' both locally and internationally. He firmly stands on it whenever he visits abroad ", wrote in an article of " Changing Myanmar Moving Forward " by U Zaw Htay ( pen-name Hmu Zaw).
Moreover, the caption " No Rohingya in Myanmar " was printed in colour in his propaganda-post, " HE IS THE PRESIDENT ".
